Jerica Coley led all scorers with 24 points, including a perfect 3-for-3 showing from the line. It's the second time in three games the two-time Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year and 2013-14 Conference USA Preseason Player of the year has shot a 1.000 clip from the charity stripe. The St. Petersburg, Fla., native extended her streak to 36-straight games scoring in double-figures, and it's also the 28th time since the 2012-13 season that Coley has scored 20-or-more points.

Kamika Idom scored a season-high 13 points and was 5-of-6 from the line in the loss. Junior

Tynia McKinzie scored a season-high 12 points, going 4-of-8 from the floor and 4-of-5 from the free-throw line. FIU finished the night shooting 35 percent from the floor, while hitting 76 percent of its free-throws by going 13-of-17. The Panthers bench put up a season-high 17 points in the effort.
Scouting the Panthers
Picked to finish second in the Southwestern Athletic Conference preseason poll, PVAMU comes to Miami with a 0-5 record to start the season. Under the helm of Interim Head Coach Dawn Brown, the Panthers most recently lost to Houston, 74-46, on Dec. 1. PVAMU is averaging less than 50 points-per-game, while opponents are posting 78 points-per-game. The lone Panther to be averaging double-digit points, Jeanette Jackson looks to spearhead the offence with 13 ppg, while shooting .818 from the line (18-for-22). Asha Hampton-Finch is second on the team, averaging just over seven points-per-game. PVAMU is being out-rebounded 45-33, while hitting 64-of-95 as a team from the line.
