MIAMI (May 6, 2021) - The FIU softball team travels to Middle Tennessee this weekend, as the Panthers and Blue Raiders close out the regular season in Murfreesboro.
FIU and Middle Tennessee will play a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 4 p.m. ET, while playing a single game on Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m. ET and 1 p.m. ET.

BATTLE AT THE PLATE
FIU plays its first road game since April 18, as the Panthers look to close out the year strong at Middle Tennessee.
Venessa Gallegos leads the Panthers at the plate, batting .355 for the year with 39 hits and 32 RBI. The 32 RBI for Gallegos rank fifth overall in the league. On the base paths,
Alexis Ross has stolen a team-best 15 bases which ranks as the third-most in the league.
SCOUTING THE FOE
MTSU enters the weekend with a 24-20 record overall, having won three out of four over WKU in their last home C-USA series. Kelci Hill leads the Blue Raiders with a .382 batting average and 52 hits on the year. Amber Baldwin has pitched over 100 innings for MTSU and has earned a 9-8 record in the circle.
