FIU downed Tulane 4-1

MIAMI — FIU's 35th-ranked women's tennis program defeated Tulane 4-1 at home on Sunday for its sixth consecutive victory.

FIU's singles trio of Ekaterina Khairutdinova, Valery Gynina and Katerina Mandelikova each posted straight set wins to clinch the match. Khairutdinova's 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles proved to be the deciding point.
