MIAMI (Oct. 19, 2016) – The FIU women's tennis team travels to Gainesville, Florida, to take part in this year's UTSA/ITA Southeast Regional Oct, 20-24.
The Panthers are among 17 different teams participating in this year's tournament, competing in both individual and doubles action.
Play will begin on Thursday from the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex with the qualifying draw taking place.

Singles and doubles champions from each of the USTA/ITA Division I Regional Championships held across the country receive an automatic entry into the 2016 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships. The USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, considered the second leg of the collegiate Grand Slam, will be held Nov. 3-6 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York.
