Saturday @FIUSoftball Game One To Be Televised on FSN; Game Two at 4 p.m.

MIAMI (April 6, 2016) -- FIU Softball will make its first nationally-televised appearance with a home Conference USA game this Saturday against No. 24 Florida Atlantic. Fox Sports Networks (FSN) will televise the first game of the Saturday doubleheader, which starts at 1 p.m. Eastern. The game will air on a myriad of FSN channels, including Fox Sports Sun, which can be seen in most of the state of Florida. The game will air on seven other FSN networks, as well as MASN and Root Sports in both Pittsburgh and the Rocky Mountain region.
                                                 
You can find FOX Sports Sun by many providers in the state of Florida (Ch. 423 – Dish Network; Ch. 654/655 – DirecTV; Ch. 720 – AT&T U-Verse; Ch. 39 – Comcast). Check your local listing for the FSN affiliate in your area and click here for the channels playing the game at that time, and for stations showing a replay on Sunday.
 
The Panthers are also announcing the movement of their second game of the twin bill is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. Eastern. The time change will allow television to clear out some essential equipment between games of the doubleheader. Game two will not be televised.
 
The Panthers are coming off a road sweep of North Texas over the weekend. The Panthers sit at 21-17 overall, 7-5 in league games. FAU is ranked 24th by the USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll this week. The Owls are 30-7 overall, 7-2 in C-USA, 1.5 games ahead of FIU in the Eastern Division standings.
