MIAMI (Aug. 1, 2016) – During the summer months, FIUSports.com will sit down and get to know a little bit more about members of the FIU men's basketball program. 

With the college basketball's summer evaluation period just finishing up – and FIU's coaching staff back in the office after looking for the next group of Panthers signees – we had a chance to sit down and chat with new assistant basketball coach Erik Pastrana about growing up in South Florida, his path to becoming an assistant coach and being part of Stephen F. Austin's NCAA Tournament Cinderella run's over the past three years.
