@FIUSwimDive Named a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team for Eighth-Straight Semester

NORFOLK, Va. (Jan. 25, 2017) – The FIU women's swimming and diving team has been named a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team, the organization announced on Wednesday, Jan. 25.
 
This marks the eighth-straight semester FIU has been named a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team and the 12th semester overall under Head Coach Randy Horner.
 
The Panthers are one of 638 swimming and diving programs representing 394 colleges and universities to have achieved a grade point average of 3.0-or-higher during the 2016 Fall semester. FIU recorded a 3.36 team GPA.
 
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America - is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
