MIAMI (March 19, 2017) – Riding a 12-match winning streak, the FIU women's tennis team (14-1) hosts the University of Towson (6-3) on Monday, March 20, at the FIU Tennis Courts.
First serve is set for 1 p.m., and admission is free to the public.
The Panthers, at No. 24 in the latest Oracle/ITA Women's Tennis Ranking, are coming off four-straight shutout wins and are a perfect 9-0 at home in 2017. The Tigers come into Monday's match with a 6-3 record, after picking up a 6-1 win in their last match against Longwood on Tuesday, March, 7. This week marks the first contest all-time between the two schools.

Ulyana Grib recorded their 18th and 17th wins of the season, respectively. Sophomore
Andrea Lazaro is currently ranked at No. 28 in the Oracle/ITA Individual Ranking and enters Monday's contest with a career singles record of 40-13, including a 27-2 mark in dual matches.
