FIU is coming off another solid outing and looks to see where it stands early on in the outdoor campaign. The Panthers recorded five top-three finishes last weekend at the University of Miami's Hurricane Collegiate Invitational in Coral Gables, highlighted by sophomore
Clarissa Cutliff logging her second-straight first-place finish, taking the top spot in the high jump with a height of 1.80m. Cutliff also won the same event at the Hurricane Invitational the previous weekend. For her efforts, she was named the Conference USA Female Field Athlete of the Week, her first honor of the outdoor season and the second of her career.
FIUSports.com had the chance to talk with Panthers track and field Head Coach
Ryan Heberling about last weekend's outing and their upcoming meet this weekend at the University of Florida.
Following this weekend, FIU will return to Coral Gables for the University of Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational, April 7-8, Cobb Stadium.
