MIAMI (May 10, 2017) – After a much-needed two week rest since the final regular season meet in Tampa, the FIU men's and women's track and field teams will get back to work this weekend as the Panthers travel to El Paso, Texas, for the 2017 Conference USA Championships, May 11-14, at UTEP's Kidd Field.
Fans can follow all the action for the four-day event, which runs this year on Thursday through Sunday, via UTEP's Championship Central by

Fans who cannot make it to El Paso can watch all the action live on CUSA-TV by clicking the daily links for live video streaming below.
The championships will begin on Thursday at 4:45 p.m. (ET) with the first day of the women's heptathlon followed by the beginning of the men's decathlon at 5:15 p.m. On Friday, beginning at 12 p.m., the men's and women's hammer throw will take place along with the final events of the decathlon and heptathlon.
On Saturday, the field events will continue beginning at 3 p.m. followed by the prelims of the running events, starting at 7 p.m. On Sunday, the final day of competition, the schedule will run very much like Saturday, with the remainder of the field events, starting at 3 p.m. followed by the finals of the running events at 6:30 p.m.

Following this weekend's trip to El Paso, FIU student-athletes that qualify, will take part in the NCAA East Regional at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, May 25-27.
