FIU Gets Back on the Road at Mountain Dew Gator Cross Country Invite

MIAMI (September 22, 2017) – After having not competed due to Hurricane Irma since the season-opening Florida Atlantic Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 1, the FIU men's and women's cross country teams finally get back on the road at the prestigious Mountain Dew Gator Cross Country Invitational, on Saturday, Sept. 23. The meet will take place at the University of Florida Golf Course in Gainesville.
 
FIU along, with the host Gators, will be among the 33 women's teams and 27 men's teams competing. The men's 8K race begins at 7:55 a.m. with the women's 5K following at 8:30 a.m.
