The FIU men's and women's indoor track and field teams turned in some solid results in their season-opening meet at the Clemson University Orange & Purple Classic on Saturday. The Panthers recorded two top-three finishes during the day-long event.

Women's Highlights

Terrisa Russell (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida/South Broward) posted the Panthers' first first-place finish of the 2018 campaign taking the top spot in the weight throw with a toss of 59-07.75m.

Clarissa Cutliff (Orlando, Florida/Edgewater) began her trek to earn her second consecutive indoor All-America honor by taking third in the women's high jump with a height of 5-10.75m.
