MIAMI (February 15, 2018) – FIU women's beach volleyball Head Coach Rita Buck-Crockett has always tried to create a family atmosphere around her program. How the program is perceived by Buck-Crockett's former players spoke volumes last weekend, when numerous alumnae returned to Miami to spend time with the current members of the beach volleyball team.
 
FIUSports.com had the opportunity to speak with Buck-Crockett, along with former Panthers Aren Cupp, Kristine Monforte, Marina Boulanger, Emily Podschweit, and Tina Toghiyani, about coming back to campus and seeing some of the results of what they started to build, and what their experience at FIU meant to them and what it means now that they can return to interact with the team's current student-athletes.
