MIAMI (April 5, 2018) – The FIU men's and women's track and field teams will head back to Coral Gables for the second time this season to take part in the University of Miami's Hurricane Alumni Invitational, April 6-7, at Cobb Stadium. Admission is free both days.
The event will begin on April, 6 with the first half of the men's decathlon, beginning at 10 a.m., followed by the first four events of the women's heptathlon at 11 a.m. In addition, the javelin, hammer throw and high jump for both the men and women will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday. The remainder of the meet will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, and run all day.
Following this weekend's meet at Miami, the Panthers will return to Cobb Stadium for the Miami Twilight Meet on April 14.
