IRVING, Texas - The 2018 Conference USA Softball Championship field has been set following the conclusion of the league's final regular-season series on Sunday afternoon. FIU finished the regular season 30-24 overall and 14-8 in C-USA play, which was second in the C-USA East Division, and earned the overall No. 3 seed.
 
The Panthers will face the winner of the game between No. 6 Middle Tennessee and No. 7 North Texas Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. ET at Sue M. Daughtridge Stadium on the campus of the University of Charlotte.
 
Eight teams, including C-USA Regular-Season Champion Florida Atlantic, will battle for the league's postseason crown and an automatic NCAA Tournament berth May 9-12 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Day one action on May 9 holds a single-elimination format with No. 5 Marshall and No. 8 WKU meeting in the tournament opener at 12 p.m. ET, followed by No. 6 Middle Tennessee and No. 7 North Texas in game two at 2:30 p.m. ET. After receiving single-byes into the evening portion of round one, 2017 C-USA Champion No. 4 Louisiana Tech will await the winner of the Thundering Herd and Lady Toppers at 5 p.m. ET.

No. 1 Florida Atlantic earns a double-bye into the quarterfinal round on Thursday, May 10. West Division Champion No. 2 UAB also earns an automatic bid into the second round. The Owls will await their opponent at the top of the bracket (No. 4, 5 or 8 seed) in game five at 2 p.m. ET. The Blazers are slated for the 4:30 p.m. ET game six and will face either the No. 3, 6 or 7 seed.

Days two and three (quarterfinal and semifinal rounds) will be played in a double-elimination format until two teams remain. The first loser's bracket game is slated for 2:30 p.m. ET on Friday, May 11, with the second to be played at 5 p.m. ET. The team to claim the winner's bracket semifinal at 12 p.m. ET will advance straight to Saturday's championship game.

Games one through nine will be streamed or televised live on beIN Sports or beIN Connect. All nine games will also be available to stream on beIN's YouTube channel. Live streaming and stats links will be available each game day and can be found on the C-USA Championship Central page (link above).

The 2018 C-USA Softball Championship game will be played on Saturday, May 12 at 12 p.m. ET, broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
