2016-2017 (Freshman): Appeared in 12 meets for the Panthers… Martin finished 17^th in the 200 Breaststroke (2:26.45) and set a personal record in the 200 Freestyle (1:54.30) where she finished 19^th at the Conference USA Championship (2/22/17)… She was awarded Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal (3.75 GPA or better) and was named to Dean’s List.

Prior to FIU: Coached by Edward Bachman at Anderson High School in Cincinnati, Ohio…Also ran track for the Redskins…Named Most Valuable Swimmer four The ECC Conference Record Holder in the 200 and 500 Free, ranking seventh in both events for the state of Ohio…Owns a best time of 4:34.63 in the 400 IM…Best times in the freestyle events are 1:51.29 in the 200 freestyle, 4:54.26 in the 500 freestyle and 17:12.59 in the 1650 freestyle…Also swam for the Kingfish Aquatic Club…A scholastic All-American, chose FIU over New Mexico and New York University.
