MIAMI (Oct. 7, 2019) - Softball returned to FIU over the weekend, as the Panthers hosted three teams at Felsberg Field. 

The Panthers won all three games, picking up wins over Florida Southwestern, St. Thomas and Broward College.

"I am happy with the progress we have made so far this fall," Coach Chris Steiner-Wilcoxson said. "We have high goals and high expectations for this program and we know we have to keep working, but I am very proud of the girls working hard and improving daily. I love how this team is growing and developing." 

The highlight of the weekend in the circle came from Alexys Lawson, who pitched five-hitless innings on Sunday. 

FIU closes out the fall slate on Friday, Oct. 11 against Miami-Dade College.
