The women's soccer team split a pair of matches over the weekend, as the ladies earned their second victory of the season. The Panthers downed USC Upstate, 3-0, on Sunday after falling in a tough match versus Appalachian State on Friday night. Gebretsadik's previous PR came at the same course last year, where she ran 18:49 at the Bostick Golf Course. The Panthers now approach a bye week, with the next competition set to take place on September 27, when FIU travels to Orlando to compete in the UCF Alumni XC Invitational.

Men's Soccer
The FIU men's soccer team had no trouble with Florida Atlantic over the weekend, as the Panthers clipped the Owls, 6-1. The Panthers were led by Alessandro Campoy, who scored three goals and added an assist to become FAU's worst nightmare and C-USA Offensive Player of the Week. The Panthers return home this Tuesday, as FIU hosts UNF at 7:00 p.m., looking to keep their undefeated 4-0-1 record alive.

Football
FIU downed New Hampshire 30-17 on Saturday night for its first win of the season. Kaylan Wiggins rushed for 187 yards on the ground and two scores, which was tied for the fifth-most yards in a single game for any FIU player. The start for Wiggins was his first of his young career for the Panthers. FIU hits the road for Louisiana Tech this Friday, with kick off slated for 8:00 p.m. ET. The Blue & Gold returns home on Saturday, Oct. 5 as they host UMass at 7:00 p.m. ET.
