MIAMI – FIU Athletics enjoyed a tremendous year in the classroom as a total of 160 student-athletes were honored with selection to the 2021-22 Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll, which was released by the conference office on Thursday.

Student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The FIU football team had the most honorees selected with 24, followed closely by baseball with 22 and women's swimming and diving, which netted 17 selections.
Other team totals included softball (14), men's soccer (11), women's soccer (10), women's outdoor track (9), women's indoor track (8), men's basketball (7), men's outdoor track (7), women's basketball (6), women's volleyball (6), beach volleyball (5), men's cross country (4), women's tennis (4), men's indoor track (3) and women's golf (3).
FIU Athletics has a total of 79 student-athletes that have or are scheduled to graduate from the 2021 Fall Semester through the 2022 Summer Term.
In addition, Panther student-athletes boasted a combined overall 3.35 grade point average and had a total of 252 student-athletes post a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
