Miami, Fla. – FIU beach volleyball's Milica Vukobrat and Rachele Mancinelli were named the Conference USA Pair of the Week as announced by the league office on Wednesday, March 1 to close out the first week of the 2023 season. The weekly award is presented by Blenders Eyewear. 
 
The Panthers were in Tallahassee, Fla. over the weekend and took part in the Seminole Beach Bash hosted by Florida State University. After two days of competing FIU went 3-2 as a team, while Vukobrat and Mancinelli went a perfect 5-0 overall in court three. Four of their wins were against ranked opponents including No.2 FSU and No. 13 Cal Poly.

The Panthers return to Miami for their home opener against Texas A&M- Corpus Christi on Thursday, March 4 at the FIU Sand Volleyball Courts. First serve is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET.
