MIAMI – FIU Athletics is pleased to announce Relentless Pursuit: A Strategic Plan for FIU Athletics // 2023-2028.
Relentless Pursuit honors FIU Athletics past, while emphasizing a high-performance culture that delivers extraordinary results in competition, in the classroom and in the lives of FIU's over 400 student-athletes.
"When I was hired on December 1, 2021, I knew FIU was a goldmine with unlimited potential, however we needed a vision and to unite the Panther Family," FIU Athletic Director Scott Carr said. "As I said that day, this is a WE not ME , initiative. I couldn't be more excited to unveil Relentless Pursuit: A Strategic Plan for FIU Athletics // 2023-28."
FIU Athletics comprehensive strategic planning process established specific goals and strategies for a three-to-five-year period. This planning activity engaged FIU stakeholders, including University administrators and external constituents, along with FIU Athletics staff, coaches and student-athletes.
FIU Athletics Title IX compliance, the development of financial pro formas and an assessment of current and proposed campus athletics facilities were key components of the planning process.
Finally, FIU Athletics electronically surveyed an extensive number of the University and FIU Athletics internal and external constituents for their input on affirming FIU Athletics Vision, Core Values and Strategic Priorities.
