MIAMI – FIU student-athletes excelled in the classroom during the most recent Fall Semester, as the athletic department posted a 3.35 GPA during the academic cycle.
 
FIU student-athletes have now posted 18-straight semesters with a department GPA of 3.0 or better.
 
FIU had 14 sport programs post above a 3.0 GPA, while five programs surpassed an impressive overall team 3.5 GPA.
 
The women's volleyball program posted the highest GPA on campus, earning a 3.73 for the spring.
 
The men's soccer squad earned a 3.55 to post the highest male GPA on campus.
 
Overall, 40 student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 for the 2023 Fall term and a total of 289 logged a GPA of 3.0 or better.
 
In addition to the GPA results, FIU had 29 student-athletes earn their bachelor's degree this December.
