JACKSONVILLE, Fla (April 27, 2024) - The FIU Panthers saw a jam-packed Friday of action at the UNF East Coast Relays, setting nearly a dozen season bests in Jacksonville at Hodges Stadium.
RESULTS
Junior
Valerie Lastra continued her excellent outdoor campaign, earning the win in the 1500, running 4:23.95.
Morgan Juarez took first in the pole vault (non-invitational) section with a PR of 3.78m.
Michaelle Valentin took a fourth-place mark in the hammer, throwing 58.47m.
Freshman
Danielle McGonigle set a personal best in the long jump with a mark of 5.59m.
Cody Menke earned a PR in the men's hammer with a mark of 42.74m.
Elsewhere in the meet, personal bests were set by
Ania San Roman Lopez,
Hannah Buchanan,
Barbara Hernandez, and
Ryan Jones in the 1500.
