DALLAS, Texas – Conference USA announced their women's basketball All-Academic Team Honors on Friday afternoon, with graduate student Sofie Vogel earning a place on the team.
A Minnesota native, Vogel is a standout student majoring in biological studies and has earned a 4.0 GPA this semester. On the court, Vogel has been a key contributor for the Panthers, regularly competing on courts one and two, with additional appearances on courts three and four. As a blocker, Vogel has recorded nine wins during the 2025 season—five on court one, one each on courts two and three, and an undefeated 2-0 record on court four.

FIU will have an off week before travelling to Youngsville, Louisiana for the CUSA Beach Volleyball Tournament from April 24-26. The Panthers will be looking to take home their first Conference USA championship in program history.
