MIAMI – Sophomore centerfielder Kally Meredith has been named to the Conference USA (CUSA) All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Friday.

Meredith, a Psychology major, holds an impressive 3.96 GPA. On the field, she has been a standout performer, serving as the only Panther to appear in all 49 games this season, making 48 starts. The Kaukauna, Wis., native leads the team with a .353 batting average and a team-high 61 hits, while also driving in 15 runs.

Her speed has been a critical asset to the offense, as she has stolen 39 bases—setting a new single-season school record. Her mark ranks second in CUSA and eighth nationally in stolen bases per game (0.80).

Meredith is also a two-time member of both the CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll and the CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal list.
