2017-18: Participated five events… Season stroke average 78.14… Season-high finish of T11 at the Boston College Invitational… Season-low round of 75 at the Gator Women’s Invitational… Season-low tournament total of 230 at the Boston College Invitational…
2016-17 (Redshirt Freshman) - Played in seven events, playing 20 rounds, all as an individual for the Panthers... Low round of the year came on 1/30/17, with an opening round 74 at the Florida Challenge... The 74 was FIU's second-lowest opening round of the event... Her best finish came in the Florida Challenge, in a tie for 39th of the 71-golfer field.
2015-16 (Freshman) - Did not play, redshirted
Prep - Started playing golf at five and during her 12 years as a golfer has played in a number of tournaments…In the last few years participated in The Harder Hall Invitational, The North and South Junior Amateur, The Sally, Abierto Sport Frances (Chile) and various opens from the Tour Argos and junior tournaments in Colombia.
ACADEMICS/COMMUNITY SERVICE: Majoring in international business and marketing.
PERSONAL: Born in Bogota, Colombia… Attended Colegio Los Nogales where she graduated in 2015… Daughter of Oscar Rengifo and Angela Ochoa… Chose FIU because of the great location, campus, coaching staff and ranking… Describes herself as honest, easygoing and hard working.
