Junior (2018-19): Participated in four events… Season stroke average of 78.1… Season-high finish of T52 at the 41th annual FIU Pat Bradley… Season-low round of 75 at the Pat Bradley Invitational… Season-low tournament total of 229 at the 41th annual FIU Pat Bradley.

Sophomore (2017-18): Participated in eight events… Season stroke average of 78.20… Season-high finish of T34 at the Boston College Invitational… Season-low round of 75 twice at the Boston College Invitational and the Gator Women’s Invitational… Season-low tournament total of 229 at the Gator Women’s Invitational… 

Freshman (2016-17): Played in all 28 rounds and 10 events for the Panthers, finishing fourth with a 76.86 stroke average. Shot five rounds of par or better, including a season-best 70 to open the 8th Annual Johnie Imes Invitational in Missouri, 10/3... Her best finish was a tie for 13th at the 39th Pat Bradley Invitational, hosted by FIU, in which the Panthers won the event... She was 3-over (72-76-71  219) in the 81-player field... She posted a top-20 finish in three of her first four events... Finished in a tie for 33rd in her first Conference USA Championships in mid-April.

ACADEMICS/COMMUNITY SERVICE: Majoring in finance… Made the Dean’s List multiple times during her academic career.
 
PERSONAL: Born in Puebla, Mexico… Attended American School Foundation of Puebla where she graduated in 2016… Daughter of Arturo Fernandez and Yolanda Ballesteros Boone.. Has two older sisters, Julieta and Yolanda… Chose FIU because of the team environment… Describes herself as persistent, discipline and kind.
