Prior to FIU: Played at Miami Killian Senior High School for head coach Angel Herrera…Was a First Team All-Dade County selection his senior year after hitting .400 with six home runs…A member of Miami Killian’s 2010, 2012 and 2013 8A District 16 Championship teams…Was named team MVP in 2013.

Personal: Was born on Nov. 28, 1994 in Miami, Fla…Is the son of Humberto and Beatriz Perez…Has an older brother, Jovan, older sister, Karina, and younger sisters, Chloe and Angelica…Plans on majoring in Criminal Justice at FIU…Likes watching movies, going to the beach and playing basketball in his spare time.
