Named Preseason All-American by Rawlings and Perfect Game USA... Perfect Game's top-ranked 1B in the state of Texas... 53rd ranked high school player in the country by Perfect Game coming out of high school after hitting.490 with 10 home runs his senior season... In 2008 was named First-Team All-State after hitting .470 with 14 doubles, nine home runs and 47 RBI... In 2007 was named District 3-4A Newcomer of the Year...
