Junior -- 2010-11: Finished 13th in the Weight Throw at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships with a throw of 14.62m.

Prior to FIU: Attended Butler (Kan.) Community College and Central State (Ohio). Ran track at Butler, played football at Central. Academic All-American and track & field All-American at Butler.

Prep: Attended Northwestern where he excelled in throws. Senior year was the GMAC, district and regional champion...All-Dade first team...Finished high school career ranked No. 17 in the nation in throws, No. 3 in Florida...Junior year was GMAC and district champion, regional runner-up...Finished No. 4 in Florida.
