2002-03: Team veteran who has accumulated 55 singles and 29 doubles victories to her credit...won eight spring matches, two at No. 1 and six at No. 2...partnered with Bruna Discordia for a No. 1 doubles victory over Stetson, then came back in No. 1 singles after dropping the first set, 3-6, with 6-1, 6-1 set wins to take the match...picked up a singles and doubles win in a 4-3 victory over SMU that gave head coach Ronni Bernstein her 100th career win...defeated No. 89-ranked Shana McElroy of Wisconsin, 7-6, 3-6, (10-7) and No. 94 Mari Toro of Miami, 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (4)...teamed with Discordia and upset No. 26 Maron Kruse and Stacy Varnell, 8-4, in the championship round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament...the pair finished the spring with an 11-8 mark, all played at the No. 1 position...played doubles in the fall with Christine Suard.
2001-02: An all-conference selection in singles after leading the FIU team with 23 overall victories...started off the year playing out of the No. 5 position then worked her way up the lineup...went 16-8 playing singles in the spring and was 11-6 at No. 2...also competed at the No. 3, 4 and 5 positions...at one point in the season, won a career-high nine straight matches (March 1-28)...perhaps her biggest win of the year was a 6-7, 7-5, 6-0 come-from-behind victory over Kim Gates as the Golden Panthers beat then No. 9-ranked Tennessee, 4-3... reached the Flight B semifinal round of the 2001 Omni Hotels/ITA South Regional in Mobile, Ala....teamed with five different doubles partners, the most successful of which was Dominique Rosenberg...that duo went 7-1 in the spring and won their last four matches...teamed with Anneliese Rose for a 9-8 (8-6) win against USF (Apr. 13) in the firstNo. 1 doubles match of her career.
2000-01: After an impressive fall campaign, moved into the regular rotation mostly at the No. 6 position...in the opening round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, after losing her first set, came back to win the match, 6-4, 10-5...posted a perfect 3-0 mark at No. 5 singles and was 13-5 at No. 6...put together a string of eight-straight singles wins with decisions over opponents from NCAA Tournament teams Bethune-Cookman, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Boston University and Virginia...reached the Flight C singles final at the Hurricane Fall Classic.
Prior to FIU: Highly-rated state competitor who was a top-50 national junior singles player...first-team all-county as a prep junior...high school team captain as a senior...attended Miami Killian H.S. as a freshman and sophomore, helping the Cougars to the 1997 district finals...member of Killian’s district doubles championship team...1999 Florida Girls-16 state singles finalist who represented the state at National Intersectionals...under-16 doubles champion that same year...a Florida Bush Open doubles finalist two-straight years (1998-99)...member of the 1999-2000 National Honor Society.
