2022 (Sophomore): Appeared in 26 games, while making 20 starts as one of the Panthers’ primary catchers…posted a .218 batting average and .635 OPS over 61 plate appearances…tabbed a total of 12 hits, including a pair of home runs and a double…registered five RBI and scored a total of 12 runs…was a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts…allowed four passed balls…only committed one error in 96 chances…posted a career-best three hits at UTSA (5/7)…was a 2022 Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll member.

PREP: Attended Boca Ciega High School in Gulfport, Florida... Played softball for the Clearwater Lady Bombers... Earned multiple awards with her high school team including Highest GPA Award and MVP Offensive Award as a sophomore, Golden Glove Award as a junior and MVP during her senior year... Played for Puerto Rico Junior National 19U Team in the summer of 2019, averaging .482, while collecting 24 doubles, eight triples, eight home runs, 23 stolen bases and  .992 fielding percentage.

ACADEMICS/COMMUNITY SERVICE: Doubling majoring in international relations and philosophy at FIU.

PERSONAL: Born in Lancaster, California but hails from St. Petersburg, Florida... Daughter of Ismael and Stephanie Perez... Has a brother, Christian... In 10 years hopes to be an international lawyer... Her favorite childhood memory is going to Puerto Rico to visit family.
