Prior to FIU: In 2005, received All-CIF honors and was named to the second-team All-Palomar squad and San Diego Tribune All-Academic Team... Led the Broncos to the 2005 CIF-San Diego Section Championship by delivering game-winning hits in the semifinal and championship games... Two-time defensive MVP (2004-05)...In 2004, posted a league-leading .406 batting average...Played for the San Diego Legacy 18-A and the San Diego County Breakers 18-U Gold.   Personal: Born March 19, 1987...Daughter of Rourk and Elizabeth Ellquist... Has two sisters, Sarah (26) and her twin-sister Katy (19)... Was named to the honor roll all four years in high school...Worked for the NFL’s San Diego Chargers in the summer of 2006 and for Capitol Records from 2003 to 2006...Off the field enjoys snowboarding and going to concerts...Majoring in marketing with aspirations of working for a record label.
