Freshman - 2008: Started 34 games as an outfielder and also appeared as a pinch runner ... Had one double and one RBI during a 2-for-2 game against Florida Atlantic ... Hit three doubles during the season, one during the SBC Tournament in a game with WKU ... Had four outfield assists ... Hit safely in three of the last five games ... Ranked third on the team with five stolen bases.

Prior to FIU - Robert Morgan High School/Sunset High School: While at Sunset, earned First Team All-Dade recognition from 2005-07 ... Named team MVP her junior and senior years ... Won a Golden Glove award in 2007.

Personal: Born Nov. 20, 1988 ... Daughter of Juan Carlos Soberon and Odalys Viera ... Has five siblings, Idalis, Mari, Tiffany, Alexis and Little G ... Sister, Mari, also played softball at FIU ... Enjoys being with family and being adventurous through outdoor activities ... Majoring in physical education with plans to possibly go into the police academy.
