2007 Outdoors: FIU’s top performer in the 1,500 and 5,000 meters... Captured the 1,500 meter title at the Golden Knight Twilight, running a season-best 3:59.49... Placed fourth among collegians in the 5,000 with a season-best 14:45.19 at the Florida Relays... Came in third at the Miami Elite Invitational with a 1,500 meter time of 4:00.62... Placed 17th in the 1,500 at the Sun Belt Championships with a 4:18.83.
2006 Cross Country: Emerged as one of FIU’s most consistent harriers... Led the Golden Panthers in a pair of races with 16th-place finishes at the Mountain Dew Gator Invitational and Auburn Invitational... His pace of 24:50.96 at Auburn ranks as the fourth-fastest 8,000-meter time in the history of the program... Second-fastest FIU finisher two other times... Crossed the finish line in third place (16:47.84) at the 5,000-meter NSU Sharks Invitational.
At Virginia Intermont: Competed in cross country and track & field for one year with the Cobras... Advanced to the finals of the 3,000 meters at the NAIA Indoor National Championships after clocking a time of 8:41.63 during the preliminary round... Posted personal-best times of 3:58 in the 1,500 meters, 8:39 in the indoor 3,000 meters and 25:29 in the cross country 8,000 meters.
Prep: Competed in cross country and track & field at Colonial... Earned All-America honors as the lead leg of the sixth-placing 4x800-meter relay at the 2005 Nike Indoor Nationals in 8:05.10...Relay finished runner up at the Class 4A state championships in 7:47.87...
