Biography
Prior to FIU: Played one season of football at Franklin College; attended Daytona State College. At Spruce Creek High, participated in football and track from 2005-09. State champion in the discus his junior year, third place in the shot put. Finished third in the discus both sophomore and senior seasons. Personal best in discus: 183 ' 7; 55 feet in the shot put. Named team MVP in track three straight years (2007-09).
Personal: Born Oct. 23, 1990 . . . Majoring in sports and fitness . . . Recruited by South Florida and Miami.
