All-Sun Belt Conference

2008 Indoors: Ran the third leg of FIU’s season-best 3:53.58 4x400 meter relay, which was good for 12th at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational... Had her best 200 result at the LSU Purple Tiger Invitational with a 26.90 for 22nd place among collegians... Finished 31st among collegians with a 59.94 400 meter run at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational.

2007 Outdoors: Ran the anchor leg in FIU’s top 1600 meter relay performance, helping the team to a fourth-place finish with a 3:44.89 at the Miami Elite Invitational on April 14... Posted a personal season-best time of 57.82 to finish 24th among collegians in the 400 meters at the Hurricane Invitational on March 17.

2007 Indoors: Captured All-Sun Belt honors in a pair of relay events at the conference meet. Ran the second leg in both FIU’s winning 4x400 relay (3:44.33) and the second-place DMR team (12:29.91)... Posted a season-best 58.81 in the 400 meters at the Husky Classic, good for 17th among collegiates.  Best 800 meter performance came at the SBC Championships, crossing the line in 2:26.04 to place 20th.

At Florida Memorial: Competed in one season of outdoor track & field for the Lions... Earned NAIA All-American honors, anchoring the 4x400-meter relay to a third-place finish in 3:49.73 at the NAIA National Championships... 2006 Florida Sun Conference outdoor track & field champions... Named to the Honor Roll.

Prep: A tri-sport athlete, competing in track & field, netball and cricket... Posted personal-best times of 55.64 seconds in the 400 meters and 2:14 in the 800 meters... Four-time team MVP.

Personal: Born October 12, 1986... Parents are Cleave Clarke and Joan Lee... Has two siblings, Joel (27) and Josanne (19)... Nickname is JJ... Has also competed internationally in the 2006 North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Under-23 Championships, 2005 Junior Pan-American Games and 2004 and 2005 Carifta Games... Off the track, enjoys reading and watching television... An education major, with aspirations to compete professionally in track & field and to become a teacher.
