All-Sun Belt Conference
2007 Indoors: Came in seventh place to score points for the Golden Panthers in the pentathlon at the Sun Belt Championships after accumulating 3,218 points.
2006 Outdoors: Placed fifth in the heptathlon at the Hurricane Invitational and finished among the top 10 at the Sun Belt Championships with a season-best 4,186 points... Tied for sixth place in the high jump at the SBC Champs to score for FIU with a leap of 5 feet, 3 inches.
2006 Indoors: A versatile athlete, saw competition in the 55-meter hurdles, high jump, long jump, shot put and pentathlon... Scored for the Golden Panthers in the pentathlon at the Sun Belt Championships... Placed among the top-10 collegians in the long jump at the Gator Invitational.
2005 Outdoors: Scored for FIU at the Sun Belt Championships, placing fifth in the heptathlon with a season-best 4,289 points... Was also fifth in the event at the Hurricane Invitational... Leapt a season-best 5 feet, 5 inches in the high jump as part of the Sun Belt’s heptathlon competition.
2005 Indoors: Earned her first all-conference honors with a third-place finish in the pentathlon at the SBC Championships with 2,870 points. 2004: Outdoors, scored for the Golden Panthers at the Sun Belt Conference Championships, placing eighth in the heptathlon with 3,041 points... Posted the team’s top performance in the javelin with an 89-foot, 5-inch mark to finish in the top 10 at the Gatorade Invitational.
2005 Indoors: Saw limited competition in the high jump and long jump.
Prep: A tri-sport athlete at Seminole, competing in varsity soccer and track for four years and in cross country for two... As a senior, was the district high jump champion and qualified for regionals in the triple jump en route to earning the Coaches Excellence Award... Track team captain as a senior... Set the school record with the 4x100-meter relay and competed at the state meet in her freshman through junior seasons... Team was two-time district and conference champions... Soccer team advanced to regionals in final two seasons... As a sophomore, named Defender of the Year in soccer.
Personal: Born September 28, 1984, in Johnson City, Tenn... Parents are Dan and Deborah Kasprzyk... Has three sisters, Katryna (21), Kiryssa (19) and Keilya (13)... 2007 team captain... Posted the team’s highest GPA in Fall 2005 and was named to FIU’s Dean’s List during both semesters of 2005-06... Named to the Sun Belt’s Commissioner’s List in 2003-04, 2005-06 and 2006-07... In 2004-05, named to the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll... A member of the National Honor Society, graduating 12th in her class with a 4.46 GPA... Off the track, enjoys photography and art... A biology major.
