Biography
Prior to FIU: Competed in football for a semester at Millikin University and in track & field for a semester at Webber International.
Prep: A multi-sport athlete at Tavares, competed in football and weightlifting for four years, track & field for three years and baseball for one... Track & field team won back-to-back district titles in 2004 and 2005, while football won the district champs in 2005... Selected to the all-county second team in football... Advanced to the state championships in weightlifting and won various district and regional titles in the sport.
Personal: Born September 15, 1986, in Miami... Son of Chuck Habermehl and Cindy Sonne... Has two sisters, Kim (18) and Valerie (3)... His mother competed in diving at the University of Tampa... Enjoys working out and writing poetry... A criminal justice major
