2008 Indoors: Captured All-Sun Belt accolades in all three distance races, breaking two school records in the process... Finished second in both the 3,000 and 5,000 meters in FIU record times of 9:58.63 and 17:43.68, respectively. The 3K broke her own record of 10:07.63 set 15 days prior at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational... Placed third in the mile at the SBC meet in a season-best time of 5:03.48... Had one other top-10 finish in the mile with a 5:05.08 at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational.
2007 Cross Country: FIU’s top finisher in four of the five meets in which she competed...Earned All-Sun Belt Conference honors for a second-consecutive year with a fourth-place finish at the league meet in a time of 18:10.45...Posted a career-best 5k time of 18:00.86 that was good for second place among collegians at the Walt Disney World Classic...Won the Sodexho Stetson Invitational, and helped FIU to a second-place team finish, with a time of 18:15, after which she was selected the Sun Belt Conference’s Female Runner of the Week...Finished 47th at the NCAA South Regional (22:37.74).
2007 Outdoors: Broke the school record in the 3000 meter steeplechase for the second time of the season, recording a time of 11:08.43 which was good for third place at the Sun Belt Championships (May 12)... Had broken the record earlier in the year, running in at a time of 11:14.68 for fourth place at the Florida Relays (April 7)... The day before, ran a personal best 4:43.86 in the 1500 meters, the seventh-best performance in the Sun Belt... Captured the 3000 meter title at the Miami Elite Invitational (April 14) with a time of 10:27.82... Posted FIU’s top performance in the 5000 meters, a 17:53.10 at the Disney Invitational (March 22), which also ranked fifth in the Sun Belt.
2007 Indoors: Picked up All-Sun Belt accolades with a third-place performance in the 5,000 meters at the conference meet, running an 18:33.03... Broke the school record in the same event two weeks earlier at the Husky Classic in Seattle, crossing the line in 17:52.23... Also earned all-conference honors running the anchor leg of the DMR, coming in second place in a time of 12:29.91... In addition to the 5,000, was FIU’s top performer in both the mile and 3,000. Ran season-bests of 5:07.94 in the mile (fourth-best performance in the Sun Belt) at the Gator Invitational, and 10:41.44 to capture fifth in the 3,000 meters at the Florida Intercollegiate.
2006 Cross Country: All-Sun Belt Conference performer who finished fifth at the league championships with a 5,000-meter time of 18:10.55... That performance marked the second-highest conference finish in program history... Posted her personal-best 5K time of 18:08.91, good for 31st place among all collegians at the Auburn Invitational, which ranked seventh all-time in program history... Recorded FIU’s third-fastest time, good for 76th place at the NCAA South Regional... Placed second at the University of Miami Tri-Meet with 19:04 time in the 5k, helping FIU to the team title.
2006 Outdoors: Posted team’s leading time in the 1,500 meters, placing fourth?just out of all-conference contention?at the Sun Belt Championships to score for the Golden Panthers in a season-best 4:44.03.
2006 Indoors: Anchored the distance medley relay to victory at the Pepsi Invitational and to a fourth-place finish at the SBC Championships to score for FIU in a season-best time of 12:49.72... Also scored for the Golden Panthers in the mile and 5,000 meters... Posted the team’s top time in the mile, placing fifth among collegians in 5:14.28 at the Gator Invitational.
2005 Cross Country: Recorded a then- personal-best time of 19:05.74 in the 5,000 meters at the Gator Invitational... Placed fourth in the 5K in 19:23 to help FIU to the team title at the Sailfish Invitational... Posted a personal-best time of 23:57.75 in the 6,000 meters at the NCAA South Regional, a 15-second improvement from her freshman year.
2005 Outdoors: posted the team’s second-best time in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a runner-up finish in 12:07.50... Placed sixth in the 5,000 meters at the Golden Knights Twilight in a season-best 19:21.34.
2005 Indoors: finished in the top 10 in both the mile (5:22.70) and 5,000 meters (18:54.92) at the Sun Belt Conference Championships in season-best times.
2004 Cross Country: Posted a top-15 finish in the 5,000 meters at the Sun Belt Conference Championships in 19:48.4... Second-fastest performer for FIU with a 19:09.23 finish at the Disney Classic to place 32nd among collegians... That time eclipsed her previous 5K best by 30 seconds... Tied teammate Deirdra Witherspoon’s time for the team-lead at the dual meet with the University of Miami, placing third in 19:49... At the NCAA South Regional, ran the third-fastest 6,000-meter time, 24:11.70, by a freshman in school history despite a minor knee injury... Finished fifth at the FIU/Lourdes Invitational with a two-mile time of 11:55.50.
Prep: Competed in cross country and track & field for two years and in cheerleading for one at G. Holmes Braddock... Track team won the district title... As a senior, earned MVP honors in both cross country and track & field... Earned Most Improved honors in cheerleading.
Personal: Born February 6, 1987, in Miami ... Parents are Neptali and Lourdes Reategui... Has five siblings, Sara (35), Gabriel (29), Diego (25), Andrea (19) and Neptali (16)... Andrea is a junior on FIU’s track & field team... Off the track, enjoys playing basketball... A business management major.
