Prep: Competed in basketball for four years and track & field for one with the Pirates...2005 track & field team MVP... Three-year letterwinner in basketball... Earned the Coaches Award as a freshman and selected Defensive Player of the Year in 2004. Personal: Born June 1, 1987... Son of Joseph and Rita Simmons... Has one sister, Tajma (20)... Nickname is Flash... Off the track, enjoys playing basketball and singing... A Bright Futures scholar... A physical therapy major.
