Prep: Competed in track & field for four years and in cross country for three years at Sunset... Earned Outstanding Sophomore and Outstanding Senior recognition for track & field...Set personal-best marks of 17.8 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles, 41.3 seconds in the 330-meter hurdles and 41 feet, 3 inches in the triple jump. Personal: Born August 3, 1988, in Miami... Son of Robert and Theresa Rogers... Has two siblings, Rachel (16) and Joey (14)... Graduated in top three percent of his class and received the Paul Bell Excellence Award... Was also a member of the Math Honor Society... Off the track, enjoys working on cars... A biomedical engineering major, with plans to attend graduate school.
