Junior (2006-07): Earned All-Sun Belt Conference honors after finishing a career- and team-best third at the league championships with a 7-over, 223 total...Played 29 rounds and ranked second on the team and 16th on the Sun Belt leader board with a 76.79 stroke average...FIU's top finisher at the USF/Waterlefe Invitational when she tied for 10th place and at the UALR/North Texas Classic with a tie for 13th place...Recorded four top-10 finishes and two other top-25 showings...Tied her career-best round when she fired a 1-under 71 at the Sun Belt Championships...Set a new 36-hole mark of 144 (72-72) at the Pelican Preserve Invitational and tied her best 54-hole performance with a 221 at that same tournament. Sophomore (2005-06): Played all 33 rounds of the year and ranked tied for second on the team with a stroke average of 77.27...Tied for 14th on the Sun Belt Conference leader board... Recorded three top-10 finishes including a season-best fourth-place showing at the FIU Challenge...Top team finisher at both the Lady Paladin Invitational (27th) and Ryder/Florida Women's Collegiate Golf Championship (5th) where she was named all-tournament...A round of 71 at the Mountainview Collegiate established her collegiate best and tied for the team's best...Also tied her best 54-hole total (221) at that same tourney... Freshman (2004-05): Fired 21 rounds in the 70s including a season-best 72 on two occasions, both during the Lady Paladin Invitational...Among the top three of the FIU lineup throughout the season...Posted a season-best 54-hole collegiate total of 221 (72-77-72) at the Lady Paladin Invitational, which remains tied as her best...Earned all-conference honors after finishing fourth at the Sun Belt Conference Championships.
Prior to FIU: Played in the three Junior World Championships and posted a best finish of 18th in 2003...Qualified for the five Colombian Junior National Championships, where she recorded a best finish of fifth in 2003...Also played high school soccer and basketball...In 2003, ranked No. 4 on National Amateur Ranking List and No. 6 in Juniors in her native Colombia...Competed in the Callaway Junior Golf Championships in San Diego, Calif.
