Prior to FIU: Swam for John I. Leonard High School, earning varsity letters on the squad...personal bests include 24.9 in the 50 Free, 54.8 in the 100 Free, 1:01 in the 100 backstroke...played flag football in high school..also recruited by Florida Gulf Coast University.

Personal: Born August 29, 1989...daughter of Jeff and Valerie Omans...has a sister (Alexis) and brother (Trevor)...chemistry major.
