2003-2004: Competed at the Hungarian Olympic Trials in three events: 200 butterfly, 400- and 800-meter freestyle...gained further international experience at the 2004 European Swimming Championships in Madrid, Spain, in two open water events - the 10,000-meter and the 25,000-meter freestyle...earned All-Sun Belt Conference recognition in three events, winning the 1,650-yard freestyle and finishing second in the 200-yard butterfly and the 500-yard freestyle...named the Sun Belt Conference Swimmer of the Week, following wins in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:27.86) by nearly 13 seconds and in the 500-yard freestyle (5:09.39), with a six-second margin of victory at the FIU Invitational #2...winning the 1650-yard freestyle at the Sun Belt Conference Championships, she posted an NCAA B qualifying mark (16:45.98)...in her first-ever meet, the FAU Invitational, placed second (10:33.78) in the 1000-yard freestyle and in the 500-meter freestyle (5:07.44).

Prior to FIU: Placed fourth at the European junior championship in the 200-meter butterfly and second as a member of the 400-meter freestyle relay...ninth at the 10,000-meter European Open Water Championship in 2002.

Personal: Born November 15, 1984...daughter of Laszlo and Toth Magdolna Barsi...an international business major.
