FIU Athletics

Jessica Shpilko joins the FIU swimming & diving staff as a volunteer assistant coach ahead of the 2025–26 season, bringing championship-level experience and a decorated career as a Panther.

During her collegiate career, Shpilko was a key contributor to FIU’s success in the American Conference, highlighted by multiple podium finishes and relay titles. She helped the Panthers capture gold in the 200 medley relay at both the 2024 and 2025 American Championships, setting program and conference records in the event. In addition to her relay success,

Shpilko consistently excelled in sprint freestyle and butterfly events, qualifying for and scoring at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship and producing numerous top finishes at premier meets, including the Purdue Invitational, Mizzou Invite, FIU Sprint Invite, TYR Fall Classic, and dual competitions throughout her career.

Shpilko is continuing her studies in Nutrition and Dietetics at FIU while pursuing her coaching career.
