Junior -- 2010-11: Fourth-best time on the team in the 50 back (29.52 at New Orleans) and 100 back (1:02.31 at Tulane)... Third-best time in the 100 breast (1:11.62 against Florida Atlantic/Nova) on the team this season... Swam 1:03.91 in the 100 IM against New Orleans, for third-best time on the team this season in the event... Also third-best on the team in the 200 back, swam 2:12.81 against Florida State and FAU in the season opener.

Sophomore -- 2009-10: Swam a 2:14.20 in the 200 IM and 2:12.41 in the 200 back at the Sun Belt Championships... Won the 200 IM (2:14.56) against St. Leo on 2/2... Won the 400 IM (4:41.85) against Florida Gulf Coast on 1/23... FIU's top finisher (third place) in the 200 IM (2:17.92) and top finisher (fourth place) in the 100 breast (1:13.59) against Florida Atlantic on 1/9... Third in the 200 IM (2:16.55) against Brown and Indian River... FIU's top finisher in the 200 IM (2:16.39) and 100 free (56.58) in meet against FAU, Northwestern and Clemson on 12/18... Second in the 200 back (2:12.86) against FAU on 10/17... Part of 400 medley relay team that finished third (4:30.54) at the Phil Hansell Meet (10/10).

Freshman -- 2008-09: Notched the second- and third-best 200 back times on the squad, including a career-best mark of 2:08.42 versus Kansas (1/9/09) to place third ... also secured a personal best in the 100 back versus the Jayhawks, touching in 1:01.34 for a fourth-place finish ... recorded the fourth-fastest 200 IM mark for the year with a time of 2:12.52 at the Sun Belt Conference Championships (2/18/09-2/21/09) ... combined with Danielle Sneir, Sara Giovannoni and Kariann Stevens for the Panthers' top 400 medley relay time as the foursome touched in 3:57.63 at the league championship meet ... was a member of all three top free relay times for the year, including two school record-setting relay squads ... teamed with Stevens, Colleen Neubert and Caroline Foster for a school record-setting performance in the 200 free relay as the foursome touched in 1:39.84 to place seventh at the SBC Championships ... James, Stevens, Nicola MacKenzie and Regina Mayer also set an FIU record in the 800 free relay with a mark of 7:50.75 at the league meet ... combined with Stevens, Foster and Vicnan Torres for a team-best time of 3:39.93 in the 400 free relay, also at the conference championships.

Prior to FIU: Attended Canberra Girls Grammar School where she received school colors for swimming ... was named Most Dedicated in Training in 2006 ... swimming and diving team captain in 2006 and 2007 ... served as captain of her club team, Telopea Swimming Club, in 2006 ... competed in the 2008 Australian Olympic trials in the 200 back.

Personal: Born September 27, 1989 ... daughter of Andrew and Lauren James ... has one sister, Amelia ... majoring in psychology.
