2004-05: Posted a pair of career-best performances in the 50- (27.59) and 100-yard freestyle (59.97) during the preliminaries of the Sun Belt Conference Championships (2/17-2/19)...cut three seconds off her time in the 100-yard freestyle from the start of the season...third leg of the seventh place 200-yard freestyle relay at the Golden Panther Invitational (1/9).

2003-04: Ninth in the 50-yard freestyle (28.63) and 10th in the 100-yard freestyle (1:02.63) against Miami and Houston (1/10)...14th in the 50-yard freestyle (28.47) and 15th in the 100-yard freestyle (1:02.91) at the first FIU Invitational (1/4).

Prior to FIU: Attended Santa Fe Community College as a freshman...a multiple letterwinner at Miami Christian High School in swimming, softball, volleyball, basketball and water polo...a three-time team MVP.

Personal: Born March 1, 1984...daughter of Pablo and Carmen Gonzalez...majoring in criminal justice with aspirations to become a police officer...currently doing an internship with the Metro-Dade Police Department.
