Sophomore -- 2010-11: Broke the program record in the 200 free at the Sun Belt Championships by swimming a 1:50.09... Teamed with Vicnan Torres, Mariangela Macchiavello and Yesica Rojas to break the program record in the 800 free relay with a time of 7:29.83 at the SBC Championships... Teamed with Macchiavello, Kariann Stevens and Kelly Grace to set a program record in the 200 free relay (1:35.00) at the SBC Championships... Swam a personal-best 5:00.80 in the 500 free at the SBC Championships... Swam 53.25 in the 100 free -- second best time on the team -- at the Miami Ohio Invitational (12/4)... Team-best 1:54.71 in the 200 free (vs. FAU/Nova on 1/29)... Part of the 200 free relay team that swam a 1:38.25 (FIU record) at the Miami Ohio Invite... Also part of the team-best 400 free relay team that swam a 3:34.06 against Miami and Central Connecticut State on 1/15... Part of the 800 free relay team that swam a program-record 7:48.14 at the Miami Ohio Invite.

Freshman -- 2009-10: Swam 5:05.82 in the 500 free, 1:52.77 in the 200 free, 17:48.04 in the 1650 free at the Sun Belt Championships... Finished first in the 1000 free (10:57.44) and 500 free (5:18.11) against St. Leo (1/30)... Part of the 200 free relay team that finished first (1:44.93) against Florida Gulf Coast (1/23)... Finished second against Florida Atlantic in the 200 free (1:59.55) and the 500 free (5:27.59) on 1/9... Finished first in the 1000 free (10:55.36) against FGCU (10/24)... Won the 500 free (5:20.89) and finished second in the 1000 free (11:00.10) against FAU on 10/17... Part of the 200 free relay team that finished third (1:41.47) and the 800 free relay team that finished third (8:07.11) at the Phil Hansell Meet (10/10)... First in the 500 free (5:24.62) against Florida State on 10/6.

Prior to FIU: A four-time all-county swimmer at Spruce Creek High School ... placed fourth in the 400 free relay at the 2007 Florida state meet ... placed second in the 200 free relay and third in the 400 free relay at the 2008 state meet ... Swimming National Interscholastic All-American in 2007 for the 200 free relay ... received the same recognition in 2008 for the 200 and 400 free relays.  

Personal: Born January 14, 1991 ... daughter of Thomas and Robin Derr ... has one sister, Kelly ... majoring in psychology.
