FIU Athletics

Sophomore -- 2010-11: Swam 26.01 in the 50 free, 1:03.20 in the 100 fly against Florida State and Florida Atlantic (10/8)... Swam 56.55 in the 100 free at the Miami Ohio Invitational.

Freshman -- 2009-10: Swam 25.48 in 50 free, 1:03.06 in the 100 fly, and 55.68 in the 100 free at the Sun Belt Championships... Part of the 200 free relay team that swam 1:44.93 in win against Florida Gulf Coast (1/23)... Finished third in the 50 free (26.73) against Florida Atlantic (10/17)... Part of 400 medley relay team (4:30.54) that finished third at the Phil Hansell Meet in Houston (10/10).

Prior to FIU: Served as team captain of the swim team as a junior and senior at Wharton High School ... received the "Big Cat" Leadership Award her junior year ... a member of the 2008 All-America qualifying relay team ... qualified for state championships in all of her four years, including as an individual her last three years ... received an Award of Excellence for 2008-09 ... a member of Team New Tampa YMCA club team from 1998-2009 ... participated in AAU competition in 2001 and 2003.

Personal: Born July 17 1991 ... daughter of Stuart and the late Rosanne Boyd ... has one sister, Emmy ... majoring in communications.
